Toshiba introduce the new intelligent e-STUDIO5520C/6520C/6530C series. This full colour series feature Toshiba’s 3rd generation e-BRIDGE System, which are more powerful, reliable, secure and ready for integration.

Toshiba offers powerful Multifunctional Printers which demand colour quality for both corporate and professional colour environments, and high level of productivity. The new development in image processing technologies of e-STUDIO5520C/6520C/6530C series offers unprecedented image quality. The true 8 bit processing at 600dpi for bright and vivid reproduction is complemented by a new 1,200dpi print mode for sharper reproduction of thin lines, drawings and text. The ICC profile allows customization of colour conversion that precisely meets the desired colour quality. In addition the newly developed toners ingredients are blended exclusively for a greater vivid result.

High volume in the past was a pure Black-and White application. Times have changed. With the new e-STUDIO5520C/6520C/6530C, Toshiba has developed the perfect solution for the growing demand for Colour in the high demand market, without compromising to a lower Colour quality. Therefore with a remarkable speed of 65 pages in Full Colour and up to 75 pages in Black-and-White, this series can produce long-run Colour and Black-and-White printing. All these allow outstanding Colour quality to in-house production, where handouts, brochures, leaflets or posters, will look appealing. Furthermore, with “toner on the fly”, Lower Cassette Feeder “paper on the fly” and Easy Replaceable Units (ERU), the new e-STUDIO Colour series ensures maximized run-time, quality and reliability at high speeds, without any interruptions.

The new e-STUDIO colour series provides a wide variety of media from recycled paper up to OHP and water proof paper. The new advanced finishing options provide highly productive stapling. Hole punching performance also receives a big boost that provides better finished results. The Saddle Stitch Finisher gives an outstanding bookbinding that greatly increases productivity by doubling the capacity of the booklet tray.

One great feature is the 10.4” SGVA colour touch panel, a newly designed user interface and an intuitive printer driver. For instance, a Scan Preview is available on the MFP control panel, eliminating “trial and error” time prior to scanning.

The new intuitive printer driver offers improved TopAccess web-based utility, which further simplify operation. Graphically, TopAccess enables users to recognize the sizes of paper currently loaded; displays log information for print, scan jobs and other details, such as user name, document name and date/time the job was requested.

For example, the Hardcopy Security Printing function prevents unauthorized copying of documents. When unauthorized personnel attempt to copy a confidential document, a hidden word such as “Confidential” or “Copy” inlay by the creator, will appear on the document. Other security features like the standard AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) help to scramble data on the hard disk; an optional Data Overwrite function prevents actual data from e-STUDIO hard disk drive from being leaked. The Role Based Access Control is an added function to permit a new guest account, such as unregistered customer or temporary staff to use the limited functions in the e-STUDIO system.

Integration Ready
Advanced MFPs are of little use to business if they do not integrate with existing network environments. Open Platform technology offers more integration opportunities into various customer workflows. Toshiba e-BRIDGE Open Platform enables compatibility with third-party applications. The Meta Scan function allows attachment of additional information to files when scan to functions or file scanning. The attached data can be accessed by external workflow systems.
